Talk show veteran Kerry Shannon, formerly Kerry Smith, is the Executive Producer of Judge Jerry, a daily, first-run half-hour court program from NBCUniversal Television Distribution. It will debut in national syndication in fall of 2019.
Shannon continues her partnership with Jerry Springer after being part of the senior production team that lead The Jerry Springer Show to become a cultural phenomenon that enjoyed decades as a daytime staple. Shannon joined The Jerry Springer Show as an Associate Producer in 1999 but was quickly promoted to Producer in just nine months. By October of 2007, she was elevated to Senior Producer but again was promoted less than a year later to Supervising Producer. In 2011, she was promoted to Co-Executive Producer and by 2015, she became Executive Producer for the start of the show’s historic 25th season.
Prior to joining The Jerry Springer Show, Shannon served as an Associate Producer and later a Producer for a small cable company in Las Vegas.
Shannon graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Communications. She resides in Connecticut with her husband and three children.
